Jason
J. Wang, M.D., eye physician and surgeon of Omni Eye Specialists,
P.C. and Colorado Laser Surgeons, received his undergraduate
degree at Northwestern University. He received
his medical training and medical degree from the University
of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He obtained his residency
training in ophthalmology
at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
After residency, he obtained subspecialty training in Cornea,
External Disease,
and Refractive Surgery by completing a fellowship program at
the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Dr. Wang has contributed to the field of corneal disease and
refractive surgery with scientific publications in the medical
literature and most
recently by presenting his work (on wavefront technology) at
a national ophthalmic meeting for which Dr. Wang garnered
A Best Paper of Session distinction. During medical school
and residency, he participated in research involving retinal
pigment epithelial transplantation and corneal epithelial
stem cell survival. He is a member
of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery
and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Wang strives to keep abreast of the latest advances in
cataract, corneal, and refractive surgery. He is committed
